 How to Copy or Move File to Flash Disk

MATERIAL :

1. Flash Disk

2. Handphone/cell phone

 

STEPS :

1. Go to settings and search for "OTG connection" and turn it on. 

2. After "OTG connection" is turned on, connect the flashdisk to your cellphone.

3. Go to "file manager".

4. Then select the file you want to copy or move.

There are 2 ways to copy or move file to flashdisk

  ★ First method :

      1. Press the three point or long press on the file

      2. Then select the "copy" option and you will be automatically prompted to choose where you want to copy the file to.

      3. Select the name of your flash disk then press "copy to here".

      4. To confirm whether your file has been copied to the flashdisk or not, you can select the word "view" in the notification earlier or go to the OTG at storage location.

 ★ Second method : 

      1. Long press on the file

      2. Then select the "move" option and you will be automatically prompted to choose where you want to move the file.

      3. Select which is the name of your flash disk then press "move to here"

      4. After finish copy or move all files you want, scroll down on your phone screen, and press the sentence "Tap to remove USB device safely" 

      5. Disconnect/unplug the flash disk

 

So, the difference between you copy the file and move the file is, if you select the "move" option then the file will no longer be on your cellphone but only in your flashdisk whereas if you select the "copy" option, the file will be both in your phone and flashdisk.
